HESC applications open for academic year 2023/24

Eligible students can now apply for higher education short courses on GOV.UK. They should only apply if they've received a course offer providing the relevant course details.

Students starting their course before 1 September 2023 can download this HE Short Course Loans application form from GOV.UK. They then need to print it and post it to us.

We've updated the SIS user guide to include information about short courses.

As student’s will be applying via a paper application form, it may take at least 4 weeks before student information appears on SIS.

If you've still to complete your course submission, please do not promote these courses to your students for student finance. You can find information on how to do this in the CMS user guide.
